The Zamfara state government has finally sacked earlier suspended Emir of Maru, Alhaji Abubakar Cika Ibrahim, and the district head of Kanoma, Alhaji Ahmed Kanoma. The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) on Sunday in Kaduna announced its position on Monday’s revolution now protest planned by Omoyele Sowore, who is now in detention. Sowore, the publisher of Sahara Reporters and founder of the African Action Congress (AAC), was arrested by DSS operatives on Saturday.
